Noise Fundamentalism. There is no better word for this live. Just check the name and you will understand what I'm talking about. The oldest generation to the younger noise musicians were gathered for a great harsh noise evening. The younger ones, Guilty Connector for Japan and Viodre from USA, started this live by playing together for a harsh violent crazy intensive destructive noise concert. Harsh Noise is not dead !
Then two of the most respectable japanese noise musicians, K2 and MSBR, gave two good lives even if they were too quiet - Incapacitants are far more frightening on stage and K2 usually does more energic performances. But the music was good, so it was still enjoyable. Old School Noise is not dead !
Nord, one of the former japanese noise musician along with Merzbow, was doing a come-back with Astro. The performance was a good mix of noise from Nord and ambient sounds due to Astro.
Conclusion was for Gomikawa. Interesting but may be too conventional. I expect more from a noise live performance than just some usual noise sounds.
