Liquid
Room is a quite large live house which usually is more into techno / electronic
music events. But for its 8th anniversary, they invited the old band The
Stars with two support bands : Boris and Christine 23 Onna
aka Masonna aka Yamasaki Maso.
Boris did a good show, but may be Liquid room is too big for them.
Anyway, the sound was loud and powerful and Boris is just a great band on stage
as in studio.
Christine 23 Onna, the psychedelic spacy project from Maso
Yamasaki made an impressive performance but the problem was the same
than for Boris. A smaller live house would fit better to such a band.
But if you like psychedelic music, this show was amazing. Entertaining and quite
funny. A japanese and more psychedelic counterpart of american Helios
Creed.
Then The Stars. Music is a more traditional rock sound with
some great tunes which reminded me Nagisa ni Te. I could enjoy this band even
if not into what I usually like. They concluded the evening with Yamasaki
Maso for a psychedelic song.
